WONDERFUL FIELD TRIP OPPORTUNITY

See the magic unfold in this one-hour family performance of the classic fairytale Cinderella. This enchanting fantasy features all your favorites – a charming Prince, Garden Gnomes, the Step-Sisters and Step-Mother and of course, Cinderella. It’s a perfect way to begin a lifelong love of the arts – an event everyone will remember happily ever after!

When: Friday, May 31, 2013, 10:00 a.m. (seating begins at 9:30 a.m.)

Where: Oxnard Performing Arts Center, 800 Hobson Way, Oxnard, California

Cost: $5.00 per ticket or Title 1 based on percentage of students qualified for free or reduced lunch (see below).

To reserve your seats, please make your check payable to Footworks Youth Ballet and write “Outreach” on the memo line. Please return this flyer with your contact information below. You will receive a ticket confirmation by email (within 7 days) to verify receipt of your check and reservation. Please make sure our email from outreach@footworksyouthballet.org is not lost in your spam folder. Your actual ticket confirmation packet will be emailed about one week before the performance. Organizations will be seated together according to the size and earliest submissions of reservations.

Footworks Youth Ballet’s purpose is to provide educational opportunities to young people in the art of ballet. Our mission is to develop and enhance every student’s love and appreciation for the art of ballet; to do so by offering all students an opportunity to perform in live ballet performances; to provide serious ballet students who aspire to a professional career in dance the opportunity to develop their artistry and refine their ballet technique while performing on stage; to encourage young aspiring choreographers by providing nurturing workshops and choreographic opportunities under the mentorship of dance professionals; to widen life’s opportunities for all students and encourage them to meet life’s challenges and opportunities with confidence and self-esteem developed through the discipline of ballet.
